Welcome to our Youth Lending Program, dedicated to supporting the youth of Colusa and Glenn Counties engaged in livestock projects within qualifying 4-H, FFA, Independent, or Grange chapters.

Program Guidelines:
To apply for the Youth Lending Program, applicants must adhere to the following requirements: Submit a completed electronic or hard copy of the loan application. Electronic copies can be sent to youth@fcscolusaglenn.com. Applications must be submitted no later than 60 days before the applicable fair's official weigh-in date.
Who Can Apply?
Be at least 9 years old and up to one year after graduating high school.
Be an active member of a qualifying 4-H, FFA, Independent, or Grange chapter.
Loan Terms:
Loans are provided on a one-year term basis.The maximum loan amount is $3,000 (excluding interest).
Utilization of Funds:
Loan funds must be used for the purchase of a market animal and related project expenses.
Interest Policy:
The Association does not charge any interest on the funds provided.
Repayment:
All advances will be made payable to the youth.
Upon the sale of the market animal, all loan funds disbursed must be repaid before the loan maturity date.
Co-signer Information:
One adult, aged 18 years or older, must co-sign on all youth loans.
The co-signer should not have any unsatisfied liens, judgments, or lawsuits against them. All taxes must be paid and up to date for the co-signer.
The co-signer cannot have filed for bankruptcy, faced foreclosure, or defaulted on a loan.
