Position: Loan Officer, full-time in person position located in the Colusa and/or Willows Branch Colusa, CA and Willows, CA
About Colusa-Glenn Farm Credit:
Farm Credit Services of Colusa-Glenn, ACA (aka the Association or Colusa-Glenn Farm Credit) is a member-owned cooperative that provides credit and credit-related services to or for the benefit of eligible borrowers (members) for qualified agricultural purposes in the counties of Colusa and Glenn in the state of California. The Association is a lending institution of the Farm Credit System (FCS), a nationwide system of cooperatively owned banks and associations, which was established by Acts of Congress to meet the credit needs of American agriculture and is subject to the provisions of the Farm Credit Act of 1971, as amended (the Farm Credit Act). The Association provides financing and related services through its Federal Land Credit Association (FLCA) and Production Credit Association (PCA) subsidiaries. The Association maintains its corporate headquarters in Colusa (Colusa County) and a branch office in Willows (Glenn County).
Job Responsibilities / Duties :
The loan officer position is integral to the success of our Association, fostering relationships with new and existing members. The strong customer relationships that loan officers build directly benefit our Association by generating new business from these members. The Association relies on the loan officers to maintain relationships throughout the year, anticipating member needs and communicating changes of financial conditions to credit administration. The loan officer’s relationship with the borrower, along with expert financial trend analysis, facilitates the loan origination process. Maintenance of the relationship is ongoing, particularly when the member finances both their long- and short-term needs with the Association. The Association’s commitment to our members is exemplified by each loan officer’s presence in the community. Loan officers have the ability and flexibility to provide valued community service hours, contribute to agricultural related projects and support agriculture in general.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Ag business or business
3 years of related experience in banking or commercial appraisal
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong decision-making skills
Strong customer service and team skills
Expert knowledge of the agricultural industry
Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite

Compensation:
The Base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 (minimum) - $150,000 (maximum) annually, depending on experience. This position is eligible for our annual incentive program in addition to base compensation.
