A vital aspect of supporting our rural community involves promoting the progress of young, beginning, and small farmers, and ensuring ample opportunities for young individuals to engage in agriculture from an early age. One of the goals of our Association is to aid the youth of our community in attaining success in their agricultural pursuits. This objective is accomplished by actively participating in local communities through both donations and engagement.

Sponsorship of Local Fairs and Youth
Colusa-Glenn Farm Credit is a major sponsor of our local fairs, contributing to both the Colusa County Fair and Glenn County Fair. These donations aim to bolster the fairgrounds and support the youth livestock showmen.
Financing the Future of Agriculture
In addition to program support, the Association extends direct financing to local youth engaged in livestock projects through our Youth Lending Program.
Empowering Youth through FFA and 4-H
We support local agricultural education programs, such as FFA and 4-H, fostering premier leadership, personal growth, and career success. Additionally, our close ties with local schools' agricultural departments enable us to support and participate in these programs, while our Association provides direct financing through the Youth Lending Program for local youth involved in livestock projects.
