Shaping the Future: Nominating Committee
and Director Elections

How to get involved:

Welcome to the Colusa Glenn Farm Credit Nominating Committee and Director Elections page! Your participation is crucial in shaping the future of our Association. Below, you'll find essential details about the election process, key dates, and the areas with open Director positions for 2024.

Nominating Committee:

The Association maintains a dedicated Nominating Committee for the purpose of Director Elections. The Nominating Committee comprises 8 Members, with 2 Members serving for each of the four areas mentioned earlier. Nominating Committee Members are elected annually. The candidate with the highest number of votes for a region becomes the regular member, while the individual with the second-highest votes becomes the alternate. Nominating Committee Members serve a term of 1 year and are allowed to serve only 2 consecutive terms. The primary responsibility of the Nominating Committee is to identify potential Director and Nominating Committee candidates from a list of all stockholders. They contact these identified candidates, determine their acceptance of candidacy, and include them in the Annual Meeting Information Statement. Our General Counsel, who also serves as our Standards of Conduct Officer, acts as a liaison to the Nominating Committee during the nomination process, providing an added layer of independence and addressing any questions or issues.
